What we like to do...

There are many things we like to do to keep busy. Some of them we can do in Bangkok, some of them we have to go quite far to do.

While we have been living in Thailand we have been on 2 skiing holidays. One in Canada and one in France. Nick is very good at skiing. He has been learning for many years. I started learning to snowboard about 5 years ago. I am not very good. I get scared when I go too fast and it hurts a lot when you fall over. When we went to Canada, Nick got to go in a helicopter to look for a good place to go skiing.

Nick and I both love diving. You cannot go diving in Bangkok. We have been diving in so many different places all over the world. We have swum with shark, rays, dolphins and lots of other amazing things, even fish that walk along the floor on their fins. We have explored ship wrecks and caves and even dived where there is snow. We love being in the ocean, our favourite thing to see are sharks.

Another thing we like to do is wakeboarding. We have been learning to do this for about 6 months. Nick was very good at this very quickly. It took me many weeks before I could even stand up. It is a little scary, going over the jumps is very scary! This is something we like to do on Saturday or Sunday.

Nick also likes to play golf. He plays golf with Teacher Jayson. Last weekend he went and played golf with Runchanapong from Grade 3. Run beat both Jayson and Nick easily.

The last thing we both really like to do is travel. We have seen some amazing things. We have seen the Pyramids in Egypt, the Aztec Pyramids in Guatemala, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, The Blue Hole in Belize, and even the highest mountain in the world; Mount Everest. We have traveled to nearly 70 countries between us.
